Perth Running Festival October 2019 – well done to all my runners!

What an amazing and emotional day for all my runners. It truly was a proud moment for me as a new coach to see all my runners giving it their all. I have produced a quick summary as follows:-

Sarah

Sarah is not only a runner but the brilliant designer of my great running shirt! Sarah completed her first half marathon within her planned target time! Congratulations!

Ruth

Ruth was running in only her second half marathon and fresh from a long journey back from Germany after watching husband Gary run the Berlin Marathon. Ruth completed only her second half marathon today and finished with a personal best!

Lisa G

Lady Lisa as we all know her by, did a fantastic job! Lisa did her first marathon this year at Rottnest and got under 4 hours. Today she finished off her brilliant year by completing her half marathon at the Perth Running Festival.

Neil

Great effort by Neil today as he completed only his third half marathon an managed to sneak ahead of his wife Donna and achieved a personal best! Well done Neil, you are also very brave!

Donna

Donna turned 50 years young this year and completed her first marathon. Today was her third half marathon and she gave it her usual 100% all out effort!

Craig

Today was Craig’s first ever half marathon and he competed and completed with a smile on his face! Well done Craig.

Gary

Gary took on the task of 4 hour pacing duties for the Marathon. He was leading a group of 4 of my clients and maintained a steady pace throughout to finish in 3 hrs 55 mins. Oh, I forgot to mention he is also just come back from overseas having completed the Berlin Marathon last Sunday and arrived back on Friday afternoon!

Sharon

Sharon managed to smash her personal best today and finished just outside the 4hr mark. I get the feeling the sub 4hr Marathon is not far away!

Tina

Tina has run numerous Ultras and Marathons . Shes coming back from injury and trained so well. Another personal best today as she also just finished outside the 4hr mark. Great effort Tina!

Linda

Linda has run numerous marathons and was determined to smash her target of a sub 4 hour Marathon finish time. Well today, she completed it in style and joined the sub 4 Marathon club! Brilliant Linda, well done.

Liam

This was Liam’s return to Marathon running after a break of a few years. He returned in style today and completed his comeback marathon in 3hr 25mins. A truly brilliant effort!

Sonja

Sonja has recently returned from the UK representing Australia in the World Transplant Games. Today she completed the 10km event with husband Scott and celebrated in style with ice cream!

Debbie

Debbie smashed the 10km event today with a personal best and is already setting new targets to go under 50minutes. That’s the spirit Debbie!
